Bay Heating & Air Conditioning was founded in Bay Village by Bill Patterson to install heating and cooling systems in the fast growing supply of new homes being built in the local area in the mid 1940s. Business was brisk and it wasn't long before Bill hired Al Tresch to help manage the growing concern. In 1969, Bill's son-in-law Lynn Robinson joined the firm, as did Al's son Roger Tresch, Sr. The early 1970s brought a demand for knowledgeable heating and air conditioning repair service, and Bay Heating & Air Conditioning made it's first foray into the area which quickly became the company's forté.

Cleveland's Westshore area continued to grow, and in 1994 Roger's son Roger Tresch, Jr. came on board, followed by Lynn and Billie Robinson's daughter Kori Szabo in 2000. Today Bay Heating & Air Conditioning is owned by Lynn and Billie Robinson and proudly boasts of a 60 year record for impeccable customer service built on a foundation of three generations of dedication by Bill Patterson's and Al Tresch's families.
