Wanting to refinish one of his older hardwood floors in the early 1990s, Don Falasca went to work with a floor finishing company to learn the technique. After a year and a half, Don began to purchase his own equipment and promote his new business. From his first day in business in 1993, his reputation for painstaking craftsmanship grew rapidly. Over the next couple years, his customers began to ask his advice on where they could purchase area rugs to protect his beautiful floors. Don and his wife Cynthia noticed that often their customers would select a rug they thought was beautiful in the store, only to find that it didn't appeal to them once they got it home.
